To support this commitment, we have a strategic priority to keep a relentless focus on improving customer satisfaction, by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.

BT is a founder member of both the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM); and the British Quality Foundation (BQF), where we serve on the Board.  We are also members of, and active participants in, the global forum for Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST). Our approach to Quality and Business Improvement is to establish a clear and compelling difference between our competitors, and us by delivering excellence in customer service. To support this we maintain soundly based management systems across all of our business operations and apply the same high quality standards with all our operating partnerships.

BT Ireland is certified for ISO9001, 27001/20000, BS25999 and the Environmental standard 14001. Company-wide ISO9001 registration demonstrates, on an independently assessed basis, that BT Ireland, as with BT as a whole, meets international standards in quality management. All elements of the BT quality management system are annually reviewed internally and subject to both internal Quality assessments, and a rolling programme of external registration assessments by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) - our ISO9001 certification body.
