BT Ireland Appoints New CEO

BT Ireland today announced the appointment of Colm O’Neill as Chief Executive Officer at its all-island operation, effective from the 19th September 2011. Colm succeeds Graham Sutherland, who has been appointed Managing Director of BT Business in Great Britain.

Graham has been with BT since 2006, joining as Chief Financial Officer of BT Ireland before becoming Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Graham will head up a business division that generated in excess of £2.3 billion in revenue last fiscal year.

Colm O'Neill joined BT in 2009 as Managing Director of Business in Ireland. Colm previously worked for nine years in EMC, holding a number of senior management positions across the UK and Ireland, most recently as Country Manager for EMC Ireland.

BT Ireland is one of the leading communications and IT services companies on the island of Ireland. The division reported revenues of £750 million for the year ending 31st March 2011.
