Hastings Hotels Group are all-in with BT

The Hastings Hotel group, Northern Ireland's largest independent chain of luxury 4 and 5 star hotels, has taken the full range of its fixed communications business back to BT. Until recently, the family-owned group was happy to have a number of partners, including BT, for different elements of their portfolio. They have now decided that BT can provide an assured level of service at a competitive price and have opted for a single partner. The five year deal is worth £150,000 and will see BT provide and maintain all communications services for the group, including Wi-Fi and Internet access for guests.

Visitors to Hastings’ landmark properties, such as the five star Culloden Estate and Spa, the famous Europa and the beautiful Slieve Donard, expect a range and quality of communications services to match the best on offer internationally. The infrastructure to deliver those services will be managed by BT's teams of specialists, covering all elements of the Hastings network, from telephone lines and switches to wireless networking and security. Howard Hastings, Managing Director of the Group, commented that

The relationship between Hastings Hotels and BT now stretches back over twenty years. We’ve always had a relationship with BT, even when parts of our network were with other suppliers. That kind of long-term track record gives me confidence,' said Dr Hastings. 'BT has understood what we need and as a result I’m really pleased with the decision to make them our sole fixed communications partner.
