BT Flex contact centre officially opens in Belfast, creating over 100 jobs

Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, Arlene Foster; with David Curry, a BT Team Manager, at the official opening of BT’s new flexible contact centre in Belfast which has created more than 100 jobs to date in Northern Ireland.

The new centre, based at Belfast’s Riverside Tower, employs multi-skilled customer service advisors who can work across any part of BT in the world that requires additional resource for short-term campaigns – the first of its kind within the company.

According to a Regeneris study in 2012, BT employs one in every 150 employees working in the private sector in Northern Ireland, and 1 in every 6 employees working in the IT and Communications sectors. This results in £83 million in wages and salary spend across Northern Ireland.
