BT Sport confirms FA Cup with Budweiser third round televised fixtures

December 11th 2013

Blackburn Rovers v Manchester City

12.00 BT Sport 1 – Saturday 4th January
Championship side Blackburn Rovers will relish welcoming Barclays Premier League heavyweights Manchester City to Ewood Park for this FA Cup clash. A strong FA Cup campaign could reignite the Lancashire club’s league fortunes but beating Manuel Pellegrini’s men may prove difficult, especially as City will have the Cup in their sights after losing in the final against Wigan last season.

Derby County v Chelsea

13.30 BT Sport 1 – Sunday 5th January
Championship promotion hopefuls Derby take on Barclays Premier League title challengers Chelsea, with Jose Mourinho setting out to win the second FA Cup of his career. The Rams, now led by former England boss Steve McClaren, have been in excellent form since he took control at Pride Park. This has all the ingredients to be a classic cup tie.

Manchester United v Swansea City

16.15 BT Sport 1 – Sunday 5th January
David Moyes’ Manchester United welcome last season’s Carling Cup winners Swansea City to Old Trafford for this all-Barclays Premier League affair. United will be hoping that a good Cup run can kick start their season and improve their league form. Michael Laudrup’s Swansea continue to impress both in Europe and domestically as they sit comfortably in mid table in the league.
