BT Cloud Voice is a virtual PBX system that comes with more than 100 standard features to enable smooth communication internally and with your customers, suppliers and stakeholders. We’re always developing new capabilities and making them available to you for free as we do, so BT Cloud Voice will grow with you. Our Success Managers help you make the most of your cloud voice investment not just during the deployment but throughout your life as a customer.
AutoAttendant
Our simple to configure autoattendant is the front door to your company. Set up time of day schedules, play different menus and announcements for different call types and offer a customised treatment of marketing messages and music to your callers appropriate to the brand of business unit they have called.
Built in Call Recording
BT Cloud Voice comes with our BT Cloud Call Recording solution. We’ll seamlessly and automatically record all your inbound and outbound calls, indexing them to the extension number that made the call. You can turn recording on and off on a per extension basis using your web browser. If you take credit cards why not deploy our optional advanced PCI Compliance solution which can take your organisation out of scope for PCI and save money on expensive certification costs. Unlike other basic systems our call recording comes with a full suite of grading and scoring tools for quality monitoring and you can one-click email copies of call.
Hunt Groups and Call Queueing
If you are running a customer service team, sales office or support group, BT Cloud Voice hunt groups and queueing are the first steps to adopting contact centre technology and come free with the system. You can monitor call volumes and wait times in real-time using our FREE Dashboards and set up overflows to voicemail or other teams if calls don’t get answered within a target time.
Attendant Console
If you have receptionists or attendants who manage call answering in your organisation our PC based attendant console client provides a powerful toolkit from which to manage multiple calls in real-time. With integrated directory and phone status display, attendants can drag and drop calls, park calls, create ad hoc conference rooms and much more.
Online Corporate Directory
Your users can access a web based or on phone/softphone directory which will allow them to look up colleagues, clients and supplier’s numbers and dial them at the push of a button. IP phones provided by BT can also be used to connect to your own database directories using industry standard LDAP connectivity.

We provide free integration toolkits that allow customers to integrate BT Cloud Voice to their own applications, including click to dial from CRM systems, screen pop of incoming calls using the caller’s number to offer a quicker and more personal service. Finally, an advanced routing API supports the creation of intelligent routing applications. For example route incoming sales calls to collections if the customer has an overdue balance, or route the customer to the best available person to deal with their account based upon presence data in the network
Fax Extensions
Customers on BT Cloud Voice consolidate fax machines to the cloud, where we receive their faxes and convert them to email attachments that can be delivered to individuals or distribution lists. Outbound faxes can be sent via our web portal (uploading supported attachments) or by email. Fax and voice extensions are interchangeable within our virtual PBX so you don’t have to decide their distribution up front.
Unified Communications
BT Cloud Voice is a fully unified multimedia platform. Our intelligent voicemail system will automatically deliver copies of any voicemail messages via email to your users in their inbox so that they can operate a unified mailbox, including voice, email and if using fax extensions their faxes too.
Video Calling and Screenshare
Remote working and collaboration is on the rise. But how should organisations bridge the personal relationship gap that inevitably arises as a result? With BT Cloud Voice, your users can enjoy high quality desktop video between softphone users, linked to the IM and Presence offering. We’ll also soon be adding screen sharing too during 2014, with screen share invitations being sent using IM, email, Facebook or Twitter.
